Let us move ahead for the next option, Luminance. This will change
the brightness in the image. You need to move the slider to the left
or right according to your requirements. Moving the slider to the
right make the image brighter and to the left make image darker.

1. Open Photoshop CS.
2. Open Island Girl.jpg from the samples folder of Photoshop CS
directory.
3. Go to Image > Adjustments > Match Color
4. Please make sure that the Preview option is checked.
5. Make sure that None is selected for the Source menu at the
bottom.
6. Start moving the slider to the right to 200.
7. Observe the image carefully.
8. The image is brightened.
9. Start moving the slider to the left to 1.
10. The image is darkened.
11. Please do not save the image.
